At Woldert Park on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon, the Tyler Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting Family Fishing Fun.
Sponsored with Texas Parks & Wildlife and Suddenlink, this event is open to all families. Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult.
Come join the fun! You do not need a fishing license to enjoy the festivities. Equipment and bait will be provided, however you may bring your own. If you have never fished and would like to learn, there will be hands-on activities to teach the basics. Attendees can also enter a drawing for prizes and fishing fun packs. Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
The cost to register is $10 per family. Although pre-registration is not required, it is encouraged. For more information, please call the Glass Recreation Center at (903)-595-7271 or visit us on the web at www.TylerParksandRec.com
